Hey There!

My name’s Bethany, and it’s great to have you here at Courier Creations. As a burgeoning artist and author, I thought it was about time to have a space specifically devoted to my digital artwork and novel-in-progress related musings. Thank you for stopping in to take a look around!

In the “Portfolio” tab you’ll find my digital artwork. As of October of 2020, I purchased my first iPad for the sole purpose of playing around with digital art apps. Currently I’m using Art Set 4, which has been an absolute blast. It gives you the look and feel of actual tools (pen, pencil, pastels, acrylic, watercolor…) for the medium you’re using, in addition to using different types of paper and blending tools.

Prior to this iPad revelation, I kept my drawings and sketches sweet and simple with non-photo tracing pencil followed by graphite or pen. Drawing is a love I discovered at the beginning of my collegiate years at UCCS, and it’s one of my favorite pastimes to help me de-stress and center myself amidst life craziness. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I did drawing them!

Note on Commissions – In December of 2020 I had the absolute honor of creating a dozen illustrations for a friend’s Christmas poem for her kids. It was a blast setting my illustrating wheels to the digital pavement, and we are now both very proud to share Megan’s sweet poem with the public!
